The Club

The Rotary Club of Ashgrove/The Gap is active in Ashgrove, The Gap and and surrounding suburbs, about 10 km to the west of Brisbane. The area is bordered on the west by Brisbane Forest Park and the Taylor Range, with Waterworks Road, the path to Brisbane’s first reservoir, threading through the suburbs.

The club comprises about forty men and women, and partners are invited to attend club events. In addition the club organises special events for partners.

The Club has a fine tradition of service to the local community, and has grown to become one of the most active Service Clubs in the area. Within Rotary District 9600, it is recognised as one of the leading Clubs, regularly taking out service awards including the award for ‘Outstanding Club in the District’ on five occasions.
