The Rotary Foundation

Our Club has been strong supporters of the Rotary Foundation and the work that it funds overseas and this will continue this year.

The Rotary Foundation is in effect the charity of our choice and we place “giving” high up on our Rotary priorities. This will be achieved though our regular meetings and through fund-raising activities.

Activities and Program

• Achieve an annual giving goal of US$100 per member
• Support the following Rotary Foundation programs:
  • Polio Plus/Polio Plus Partners program
  • Matching Grants program
  • Ambassadorial Scholar program
  • Rotary World Peace Fellow program.
• Help members understand the relationship between the Foundation giving and Foundation programs
• Include regularly contributions about the goals and functions of the Foundation in the club's bulletin and show how members can contribute
• Send representatives to the District Rotary Foundation Seminar
• Recognize members' financial contributions to the Rotary Foundation and their participation in foundation programs
• Encourage each club member to make a gift to the annual programs fund
• Sell the Melbourne Cup Tri-fecta tickets with all fund raising allocated to The Rotary Foundation .
