Mission

The aim of International Service is to encourage and foster the advancement of international understanding, good will and peace through a world of fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.

Objectives

Undertake club projects in the international context and support Rotary International and The Rotary Foundation projects. Address the requirements of the position description of the Director International Services.

Actions

• Informing members of activities and assisting and implementing programmes where appropriate in relation to the World Community Service (Health, hunger poverty, literacy, water etc.
• Informing members of activities and assisting and implementing programmes where appropriate in relation to the rotary Australia World Community Service (Donations in Kind, Rotarians against Malaria, Project Volunteers)
• Informing members of activities and assisting and implementing programmes where appropriate Rotary Oceania Medial Aid for Children and INTERPLAST
• Liaise where necessary with Sunshine Coast Golfing Rotarian.
• Re introduction of International Toasts possibly on Partners evenings. Proposer to follow up with communication to toasted club.
• Liaising with the Chairmen of the Rotary Foundation Committee.
